I like to come to Club 212 about once a month so I can dance with a new crowd. The main
entrance of the Club is on the side street on Main Street. You can also get to
Club 212 by going through
the restaurant called Bistro on Bridge, then proceed all the way to the rear bar and up the stairs to
the second floor.
A cheap meter parking lot is located on the corner of Bridge St. and Main St

Comments:
Update: 01/25/2007 I finally went back to Lyrics. It is a totally different experience
since I remembered it. The security is good - ID is checked and guys are patted
down. The place was filled with a different crowd of people I have never seen before.
You can feel the energy and the love of salsa as they dance. The music was good,
but they did play 45 minutes of Reggaeton from 12:30 am to 1:15 am, but then played
salsa until 1:50 am. After that it was Reggaeton and till closing. I give this place
a two thumbs up. Visit this salsa club in Pennsylvania if you are in the area on
a Thursday!
Update: 12/17/2011 Lyrics is back up and running again with a new look and new dance
floor.
Be sure to check out the one
salsero's opinion that compares this salsa club in Pennsylvania to Brasils
night club.

When: Every Monday Dancing 9 PM - ?? AM
Music: 80% Salsa, Merengue, Bachata, and Cha-cha
Comments: Here's another great salsa club in Pennsylvania to go to! Free
dance lesson in the beginning. Although I didn't make it to the lesson so I can't
really comment on it. This salsa club is located in a nice neighborhood. There is
parking around the corner and street parking.
Many of the Muevete dancers frequent this club and some Atrium dancers. If you dance
on 2, you most likely can find someone else who does too here. The bar is nice,
but there was only 1 bartender the night I came, so it could take a few minutes
to get served.
It gets crowded around 10:30 pm but thins out at around 12am because most people
have to work the next day. If you have a choice, I recommend going here instead
of Brasils.

neon sign "CASINO" (the side closest to the horse track).
As you walk in the doors, be prepared to be carded by one of two security folk.
Then turn right to go to club 360.

while you are there.
Reef - http://www.reefcarribbeanlounge.com Location:

Lesson.
Otherwise $5 cover
When: Every Tuesday
9:00 PM - 2:00 AM
FREE Lesson by Joe Figueroa 9-10 PM
Music: Featuring DJ Joe Figueroa
Mainly salsa.
Comments: This is a great salsa club in Pennsylvania to go ancing
on Tuesdsay. Dress is Casual. There is parking across the street for $6, less if
you get your ticket validated. Get it stamped at the bar downstairs before you leave.
The salsa dancing is upstairs on the second floor. It is smaller than you would expect,
but very roomy compared to Brasils. Even though there is a crowd, there is still
room to dance without getting knocked over or stepped on.
The salsa lesson definitely isn't for beginners. It is fast paced and meant for
intermediate dancers. The dancers that go to the Reef are mainly intermediate/advanced
dancers. So you'll be able to find a wealth of good dancers here. There is plenty
of seating in case you get tired, and a bar and bathrooms conveniently placed beside
the dance floor.
The music is about 65% salsa and 35% bachata.
Overall, I give the place two thumbs up!
If you are in Philly on a Tuesday night, come give this salsa club in
Pennsylvania try.
