George Dennis - Biography

George Dennis in MilitaryIt was in 2004 when Salsa would make a significant impact on George's life. While serving  in Iraq, he was asked to teach Salsa, Merengue and Bachata to members of the Armed Forces and Civilian Contractors.  At the end of his tour, George relocated to South Jersey and began to pursue dance more seriously.

Determined to improve his dance skills, George began taking lessons at the Atrium Dance Studio, Carribean Soul Dance Academy and the Eddie Torres Dance School.

George Dennis performs at the Stardust Ballroom, Pennsuaken NJNow one of the most sought after male dancers in the Tri-state area, George instructs and choreographs partner and group routines to children, teens and adults. His smooth style, intricate patterns and footwork have made heads turn and take notice.  His charisma combined with his effective, dynamic teaching techniques has helped him preserve his students and magnetize new ones.  George is recognized among his students to be one of the most patient and compassionate instructors.

George has also trained in Ballroom and Belly Dancing.  During the school year, he participates in a program that is featured in the movie Mad Hot Ballroom.
