Flava Invasion is much more than a party--it is a mainstage dance production, salsa/mambo/Latin dance convention, Latin music concert, and festive social gathering wrapped up into one "flavaful" package-taking place February 22-24, 2008.The daytime activities will feature a series of intensive workshops, taught in different disciplines, including salsa, hip hop fusion, Latin jazz, and more. Instruction will be provided by internationally renowned choreographers such as Juan Matos, Candy Mena, Sekou McMiller, Griselle Ponce , Leon Rose and more. Nighttime activities include performances by some of the top Latin dance acts in the world, and fabulous parties, featuring the best in Latin music. This event will also bring together--for the first time ever--Fania Records legend Larry Harlow and fellow musician Joel Massicot performing live on the main stage.
