Elements of Salsa

by Shaynie
(Warwick)

Hi sorry about all the questions but it's for my assignment in dance and I really need this information. Thank you I have found the website really helpful :)

1) Do you use a lot of space?
2) Do you just stand in rows the whole time during the dance or do you swap positions into say a horseshoe shape or anything?
3)Do you use canons and repetition during dances or is it just never really done?
4) Do you try to tell a story when your choreographing or just make up a dance?
5) Do you need backgrounds, special lighting, props, professional hair and makeup and do you give a lot of expressions in your faces?
6) Is it a fast or slow tempo or does it change in different songs?
Do you normally have other instruments in the songs?
